Protests are growing in Italy and abroad against the ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, and initiatives to block activities involving Italian institutions and companies with political and commercial ties to Israel are multiplying. Demonstrating today, September 22, 2025, in Rome and numerous other cities were university students and numerous other worker groups and organizations in support of the Global Sumud Flotilla initiative and united for one goal: an end to the massacre and the restoration of international law in Gaza, the West Bank, and all the many places around the world where the law of the strongest prevails. The violent events that occurred today in some cities, and their perpetrators, speak for themselves, but they will not overshadow the will and the voice of hundreds of thousands of people who demonstrated civilly and peacefully.
